One-Hit Wonders, Milk Box Material, etc. There are ample names to describe what happens when an MC simply vanishes after one modest hit, or no hits at all. Around here we call those MCs Minute Men — Rhymesayers whose careers were finished before the ink was dry on their CD covers (Yes IL and Al Skratch we're looking in your direction).
If an overwhelming number of voters decide an MC is in fact a Minute Man, he or she will be enshrined and remembered here, even if they and their music have been long forgotten.
